Politics Is Ministry
In some Christian circles and with some ministries “Christian Activism” is a dirty word. Those Christians who believe this are ignorant of some very important scripture in Romans. They are either ignoring the first seven verses in Romans Chapter 13 or are just not understanding them. Here are the verses; Read more
Make Me A Witness!!
I have seen so much in ministry in the last couple of years. But it is the things I don’t see that bother me the most. It is the silence from churches and the lack of outreach that disturbs me.
My favorite quote by Martin Luther King is this;
“And it may come to pass that the greatest tragedy of our time will not be the words and deeds of the children of darkness; But the silence and apathy of the children of light.”
Hundreds of people showed up on Saturday September 11th to protest my attempted burning of a Quran. Many Christians condemned it. Many said it was the wrong thing to do. But Monday morning in Lubbock Texas a few miles away an abortion clinic opened for business as usual and murdered more of God’s unborn children. Where were the protestors? Where was the condemnation? The silence of most churches on matters of righteousness is deafening. Read more
Crafted Spiritual Warfare Prayer
Lord God our heavenly Father, all praise, power, and glory be to your name.
Father God, we pray in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who, according to Your word is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
Father God You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that age which is to come. And You put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him, who fills all in all. For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing. He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, “What have You done?” Read more

What Causes Division?
There is a great deal of emphasis placed on unity in the body of Christ and rightfully so. Psalm 133:1 says, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” And in the New Testament Ephesians 4:3 says we should be, “endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Philippians 2:2 speaks of being of one accord, of the same love, and of being one mind. The Lord does not want us divided and yet divided we are. So, what causes this division? Very simply put…a lack of love.
